Welcome to ECHO’s HMIS training page for ServicePoint. This page is for providers who don’t currently don’t have access to HMIS. If you do currently have access, please use this training page.

  • Next Steps to Get Started in HMIS

    • The HMIS license invoice will come from QuickBooks via email.
    • A Change 1 project will need to be created in HMIS. This form will need to be filled out to the best of your ability.
    • Once we receive the form, we will work on creating the Change 1 project in HMIS.
    • Attending HMIS New User Training will be required after Change 1 project creation.
    • From there, you will be working with Alesandra and her team for the trainings that are required to move forward with CA training.

Training Opportunities

  • New User Training

    If you are a new user at an existing agency you will be required to attend a new user training as well as complete some additional agency specific training before you get started. New User Training is designed for staff members who will need to start using ServicePoint. This training is required of all new ServicePoint users before access to the protected ServicePoint website. This training will cover history, importance of data, ethics, and basic ServicePoint overview.  Once this New User training is complete new users will be required to complete their agency specific training as well.

    The first half of HMIS New User Training is completed within a learning management system (LMS)

    After all trainings are completed within the LMS, you will be contacted to register for the data entry portion of training. Data entry training will be held virtually through zoom.

  • Agency Admin Training

    Agency Admin training is required of all current or new ServicePoint users who are stepping up into the role of Agency Administrator. The Agency Admin at each agency is our point of contact for ServicePoint and is required to submit certain reports to our HMIS team each month, train new users in agency specific ServicePoint workflow, and attend an HMIS workgroup meeting on the third Friday of every month. The Agency Admin must go through a New User training prior to completing an Agency Admin training. If you have any questions in regards to becoming an Agency Admin please fill out an Help Desk ticket and out HMIS support team will get back with you asap.

    Training dates:

      • November 17th, 2021

    HMIS Agency Admin training will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm

    Additional training dates will be added as necessary when a new Agency Admin comes on board.

  • Advanced Reporting Tool (ART) Training

    HMIS Training Office Hours are offered to provide more individualized HMIS support. Bring any HMIS questions you have and those will be answered for you.
