Diversion and Rapid Exit Microgrants

  • Funding Opportunity Details

We’re happy to announce a new potential funding opportunity through ECHO, courtesy of a grant received from the Wood Next Fund. A portion of this grant money

    • ECHO would like to distribute a portion of this grant money this summer as $25,000 “microgrants” to 12 different agencies/programs who are interested in providing direct financial assistance for Diversion and Rapid Exit services.
    • We would like to kick off this process with a “Letter of Intent” step throughout the month of June where agencies that are potentially interested in this funding can express that interest up front before being asked to complete a full, formal application.
    • This “pre-application” step is expected to take less than 15 minutes, and is available at the link above.
      • Agencies are NOT required to formally apply after submitting this letter, but we will only be accepting applications from agencies that submitted this pre-step letter of interest (in other words, if you’re not sure, please submit!).
      • We will stop accepting letters through this portal at 11:59pm on Thursday, June 30th (early submission is not required, but is highly encouraged)
    • Awarded agencies will be required to follow all relevant Written Standards, Policies and Procedures, and HMIS Database Data Entry expectations as adopted within the context of the Homelessness Response System’s Governance Structure. These awards will also contain a small admin fee allotment to cover costs associated with required HMIS database participation.
    • Once we know the volume of agencies potentially interested in applying, ECHO will request an agenda item to the Homelessness Response System’s Leadership Council to determine additional process steps before we open up a portal for formal applications.
