Got a Question?

I’ve got a question about…

  • How to apply for housing assistance, a recent housing assessment, or the Coordinated Entry process

ECHO doesn’t operate housing programs or provide direct services. Our job is to help coordinate the organizations who do.

Please use our Get Help page to find a community assessor to apply for housing assistance. The FAQ on that page answers common questions about updates to your assessment, how long the process typically takes, and more. Due to the volume of inquiries we receive, if you have any of the questions answered in the FAQ, please understand we will not contact you to answer them.

You can also email gethelp@austinecho.org anytime for the most up-to-date resources. Please note the email you receive back is an automated response that is periodically updated. The email address is not monitored.

  • How to access shelter, food, healthcare, or other resources

ECHO doesn’t provide direct services. Find links to resources to meet all kinds of needs, managed by our partners throughout the community, on our Get Help page.

  • How to request an interview or information about homelessness

Reporters, please contact mediarequests@austinecho.org to request an interview or information. Please include your deadline, the kinds of questions you’d like answered, and any data you anticipate needing for your story.

Community members, if you are requesting an interview or information for another purpose (school project, presentation, independent research, etc.), please use the general inquiries contact form below.

  • How to partner with ECHO

Please complete the Partner Interest Form. Once you do, a member of ECHO’s leadership team will be in touch to discuss your individual next steps to partner with us to end homelessness in Austin and Travis County.

If you are a housing provider interested in connecting people ending their homelessness with units in a property you own or manage, please contact our Community Housing Team at portfolio@austinecho.org.

Don’t see what you’re looking for? Use this form to contact ECHO with general inquiries. Please note due to the volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a response within a certain amount of time.
