Ann comes to ECHO from Citizen Schools, where she served as the Director of Development. At Citizen Schools she led the state-wide funding efforts of this national organization to support programs in Austin and Houston, established and nurtured partnerships with foundations and corporations, developed an Austin advisory board, and successfully increased giving by 22% in eleven months.

Prior to development work, Ann held numerous volunteer leadership positions with Any Baby Can, St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Murchison Middle School PTA and the University of Texas. She has an active law license and an occasionally represents teens in the juvenile court.

Ann is an alumnus of the University of Texas, with a JD from the School of Law, and an MPA from the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Ann is married to John Howard.

Jessie Arić joined ECHO as Program Manager in February 2012.  She has worked in human services, nonprofit advocacy, and community organization since 2006.  Arić’s work experience has included both the nonprofit and public sectors.  She coordinated the 100 Homes Campaign in 2011, a 3-day survey of homeless individuals utilizing 120 community volunteers. The campaign was awarded a $50,000 grant from Seton to further ECHO’s efforts to innovate and partner with local service providers to end chronic homelessness. Arić serves on the Community Action Network’s Community Council and the Girl Scouts of Central Texas Mirrors Steering Committee. She has a B.A. with degrees in English & political science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.



Garrett Olin, HMIS Director

Garrett Olin joined the ECHO team in February 2012 as the HMIS Director.  He has a diverse background working in the government, military, aerospace, aviation, insurance, real estate, legal, manufacturing, CPG, technology, consulting and nonprofit industries.  He and his wife were foster parents for many years, helping 30 children along with their own six.
