The Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) hosted Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week: Listen. Learn. Lend a Hand, a week of events designed to educate the Austin community on the root causes of hunger and homelessness in Central Texas. This week of events ran from Saturday, November 10th to Sunday, November 18th, 2012.
H&H Week volunteers coordinate events that (1) educate and raise awareness about relevant, local aspects of hunger and homelessness and (2) offer opportunities to volunteer, donate, or otherwise get involved with the service agencies and nonprofit organizations that are already working against these issues.
