We need volunteers who have participated in the annual count before and some experience with the homeless population. Team Leader Responsibilities: · Attend Team Leader Training on January 11th from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 606 West 15th Street · Research your assigned count area in advance and make a plan for conducting the count in assigned area · Contact your team members to coordinate for the day of the count · Instruct and support your team members on the day of the count · Collect all data from your count area and deliver to headquarters after the count 2012 Count Headquarters: UT School of Social Work - 1925 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, Texas 78712 Parking Available: Lot 80 in directly behind the School of Social Work (see map below). They have also agreed not to issue tickets for people pulling into the circle drive at the school to drop of data forms. Parking is approved for the PIT Homeless Count event on 1/22/12, 1:00 PM-11:00 PM, in Lot 80 and the SSW west traffic circle. Parking enforcement remains in effect for Disabled spaces, At All Times spaces, yellow curbs, fire lanes and double parking. Guests that park in other than the approved area without a UT parking permit may receive a citation. |
